Mission · This Opportunity · Open Positions
Due 1/9/22 by 8pm EST.
the <wit> project was founded in 2019 by two young Latinas with untraditional tech backgrounds who were troubled by the limited access they experienced as they embarked on their careers as software engineers. In navigating these difficulties, they realized that community was the most effective way to stay committed, celebrate authenticity, and most of all, create a sense of belonging for themselves and other women in this field.
Our community at the <wit> project embraces individuals underserved in the tech industry and empowers them to unleash their potential by becoming leaders in social change.
The <wit> project is where changemakers come to make a difference.
If you want to learn something new to uplevel your career, mentor students to launch big social impact ideas, or make lifelong friends, our community is the place for you.
Changemakers join our community to become compassionate and dynamic leaders in any space they’re a part of.
By mentoring students to develop impactful solutions to pressing issues, you develop the skills and the network to create scalable change in the workforce and in the world.
Volunteers work together to mentor a team of students to build a tech solution that solves a pressing societal problem.
At the end of the program, volunteers and students will have the opportunity to pitch their PoC at our inaugural Pitch Competition event.
